ŞOK Marketler has rapidly expanded the pesticide analysis practice it launched in its own laboratory at the end of 2025, taking food safety in fresh fruit and vegetables one step further. Initially launched with tomatoes at the laboratory established at ŞOK’s supply platform in Antalya, the analysis process has now been extended to include peppers. From now on, only peppers that successfully pass the analysis reach the shelves, where they are offered for sale with the “No Pesticides Detected” label.

Support for producers, confidence for consumers

Through this model, ŞOK Marketler is taking an important step in food safety while also supporting farmers in improving their knowledge and implementation of proper agricultural practices. Agricultural engineers provide training to farmers in the field, while feedback based on analysis results contributes to the improvement of production processes. Customers can also access the analysis results of products on the shelves by scanning a QR code via the Cepte ŞOK application, increasing transparency and strengthening customer confidence.

The goal is to offer analyzed products across all fruit and vegetable categories

ŞOK Marketler aims to establish a permanent structure built on safety, traceability and transparency in the fresh food category. The pesticide analysis process, which began with tomatoes and continues with peppers, will be systematically expanded to cover other fruit and vegetable categories in the coming period.
