As Şok Marketler Ticaret A.Ş. ("Company or Şok"), we show utmost care for the processing and protection of personal data in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("Law"), secondary regulations, and the Decisions of the Personal Data Protection Board.

Through this platform opened for conveying mediation invitations, personal data contained in the "Mediation Invitation Report" are processed in the first stage. This platform will not be used during ongoing mediation negotiations, but personal data processing activities will continue throughout the process. This Clarification Text aims to inform you covering both processes.

Name, surname of the parties, national ID numbers of parties, names and surnames of party attorneys if any, name and surname of the mediator

Phone number, email address, physical address of mediator; address, phone number of parties; address and phone number of party attorneys if any
Legal Action
Mediation office, bureau file number, mediation file number, application number, scope of dispute, personal data on agreement document
Other
Mediator registry number, bar association information and bar registry number of attorneys if any, personal data on power of attorney / authorization documents, signatures, log records

By Which Methods and for What Purposes Do We Process Your Personal Data?

Your personal data is processed electronically via the platform where mediation invitations are collected; and subsequently via email and/or phone during mediation negotiations.

Purposes Based on Articles 5/2-ç and 5/2-e of the Law:

  • Conducting activities in accordance with legislation
  • Follow-up and execution of legal affairs
  • Execution of storage and archive activities
  • Informing authorized persons, institutions, and organizations
  • Receiving, evaluating, and finalizing requests
  • Retaining personal data during the statutory limitation period
